Atlanta (November 14, 1995) - IQ Software (NASDAQ: IQSW), a leading supplier of client/server data access tools, and Unisys, a leading developer of data warehousing server solutions, today announced a business alliance offering immediate availability of a complete package of product and support solutions. Unisys and IQ Software will work together closely on several new joint sales and marketing programs offering decisions support users a comprehensive line of solutions.
As a result of this agreement, Unisys will resell and support the IQ Software product line for client/server decision support and data warehousing. IQ Software and Unisys also will participate in cooperative marketing and sales activities, including sales force training and seminar programs, to provide more complete data access solutions for IT professionals.

IQ Software's product line - including IQ SmartServer and its latest product release IQ/Objects, a family of data access, analysis and reporting tools - supports Unisys UNIX, NT and mainframes. IQ Software's data access tools allow users to query, integrate and correlate data residing on Unisys Open Parallel Unisys Server (OPUS), UNIX SMP servers, and NT servers as well as Unisys A-series and 2200 mainframes.
